About your therapist

I graduated from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in 2013, and began practicing at A Healing Sanctuary in August that year after receiving my license. I found my greatest passion to be helping clients optimize the healing process of their body as they managed injuries and chronic conditions. To be able to aid healing more effectively, in October of 2014 I received training in Myofascial release, and began incorporating this into my practice. In November of 2016, I attended training and was certified to provide intraoral massage to treat TMJ disorder, speech and language issues, and anterior neck issues such as whiplash. In Summer of 2020, A Healing Sanctuary closed. After careful consideration, I chose to open a home office.

I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and add tools to my skillset that will help me to promote health and healing in others. I am currently completing training in aromatherapy.

Prior to becoming a massage therapist, I received a masters in social work and worked with adults with developmental disabilities for ten years.

I am married and am the proud mother of three beautiful girls. I love animals, and have 4 pets. I enjoy learning, and often seek out new hobbies and activities in addition to my favorites: reading, yoga, meditation, kayaking, crocheting, weaving, and sewing.
